Join our thriving academy and support our students. We are currently looking to appoint a Student Services Support and Admissions Officer to join us at Harris Garrard Academy.
Main Areas of Responsibility
* To ensure that you are the gatekeeper for access to student services for all students
* To triage all first aid that is reported via student services, involving treating, logging, calls to parents, and supervising pupils until collected
* To lead on the academy admissions procedure and coordinate the enrolment of all admissions to the academy
* To lead on the application and logging of all FSM applications to the academy through L2ICT
* To manage all off rolling in the academy and ensure that all off roll files are maintained in line with statutory guidance
Qualifications & Experience
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* High quality ICT skills (and a willingness to undertake training when required), used to promote effective administration, organisation, communication, and management
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
* The ability to quickly gain and maintain credibility and rapport with managers and staff across the school
* A good telephone manner and professional image
* Good organisational and interpersonal skills which indicate a warm, efficient, and hospitable manner to all
* Excellent listening and communication skills and sensitivity in complex situations

Harris Garrard Academy is an all-through 3–18 academy with approximately 1350 pupils on roll and joined the Harris Federation as a sponsored academy in September 2017. The academy is based in Thamesmead in a purpose-built building.
