We are recruiting for a Team Leader with in our day centre which provides social care to individuals with learning disabilities, Autism and other associated support needs as well as behaviours which may challenge.

The position of team leader is to support users who access the centre for day support, ensure service users plans are managed correctly, maintain protection strategies for all service users and to promote independence and inclusion.
The post holder will need to ensure staff attend training, on line training is completed and provide staff supervision, they will also need to liaise with other professionals and service users families.
They will also have to manage local finances within the centre and medication.
the team leader position may require some additional hours outside of the basic 37.5 per week.
And will include some driving in line with the service we provide so the successful candidate will need to hold a full driving licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
The role will be to over see the day to day running of the centre, which is a busy environment providing support to individuals who have a verity of support needs.
Experience with in the care sector and having been in a senior position is essential as well as having completed appropriate training to an NVQ or diploma at level 3/4.
