Urgent Care Clinical Practitioner (Nurse/Paramedic/Physio) UTC

Are you a dedicated healthcare professional seeking a rewarding opportunity to continue delivering exceptional patient care? Your role as a Clinical Practitioner with Nottingham CityCare Partnership will put you at the forefront of healthcare transformation. Utilizing your expertise to provide top-notch care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

The Nottingham CityCare Urgent Treatment Centre is a clinician-led service that provides assessment and treatment to people with urgent but not life-threatening health problems.

This post is suitable for an enthusiastic, driven, motivated, and flexible Registered Health Care Professional with experience working in an independent practitioner role in a first contact environment.

Flexible 365-day working with shifts from 06:45 am to 10 pm daily is required. Full-time and part-time hours will be considered.

The Urgent Treatment Centre is a training environment supporting the development of all healthcare disciplines, including student nurses, pharmacists, GP SpRs, medical students, and paramedics. The service is located at Seaton House, recently modernized and equipped with on-site X-ray facilities.

Informal visits to the Urgent Treatment Centre are welcome.


Main duties of the job

Typical day:

* Working within a compassionate and professional team of clinical experts.
* Providing face-to-face assessment and care for patients presenting with undifferentiated conditions.
* Delivering secure, efficient, and patient-centered care.
* Guiding patients across primary, secondary, and tertiary care levels.
* Conducting clinical evaluations and supporting fellow clinicians.
* Participating in reflective supervision led by clinical leads.

Requirements to be successful:

* Registered healthcare professional, e.g., Nurse (Part 1 of current NMC register), Paramedic, ECP, Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapist.
* Experience in first contact care, assessing patients with undifferentiated illnesses and injuries in primary or emergency care.
* Right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

Experience

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per year (pro-rata for part-time). Pay award pending.
