We’re working with a welcoming and well-supported SEND school that’s looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil who needs consistency, patience, and someone who really gets them. You’ll be part of a team that truly values support staff and knows the huge impact you make every single day. What you’ll be doing Providing 1:1 support that helps the pupil feel settled, safe, and ready to learn Working closely with the SENCO and therapists to follow personalised strategies Supporting emotional regulation, communication, and engagement Helping create routines and activities that build confidence Being that steady, reassuring presence that makes school feel manageable What we’re looking for Experience supporting children or young people with SEND A calm, thoughtful approach to behaviour Someone who listens, adapts, and builds trust Strong communication skills and a genuinely caring nature If you’re Thrive trained, brilliant. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
