Overview:
We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser and Counter Assistant to join our team at a well established pharmacy in the local area. The ideal candidate will have Pharmacy experience, a passion for continuous improvement, a good eye for retail, and wishes to offer the best possible service.
Duties:
* Some of the duties include:
* Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
* Providing excellent customer service and patient care. Includes working on the counter providing health advice and ensuring safe supply of OTC medication.
* Assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and labelling
* Maintaining proper stock levels of medications and supplies
* Processing prescription orders and managing patient records
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Community Pharmacy is essential for this role, and we expect staff who apply for this position to have completed a recognised qualification as a Counter Assistant and Dispensing Assistant.
- Proficient in medication administration procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- A working knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Hours can be agreed by mutual agreement, to be spread over 4 days or 5 days per week.

We are a well established independent Pharmacy based in the Hollingdean area of Brighton, in a parade of shops often known as "The Dip". We are a community pharmacy, and also run a specialised online retail division, known as Harpers Healthcare. Between our two sites, we employ a team 20 staff members. We pride ourselves on offering a high quality reliable service to all of our customers and patients, as well as providing a positive environment in which to work.

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 37.5 per week
