About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Sale, Manchester. This full-time position begins in January and is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children thrive in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
* Assist with classroom organisation and learning resources
* Help maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
* Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development
* Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies where required
Requirements:
* Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)
* A positive, proactive and caring approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A strong commitment to pupil wellbeing and progress
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous
