Job Title: CNC Machinist CNC Setter / Operator Milling and Turning M achinist Milling and Turning Salary - £38,750 -47,250 full benefits package Hours Early / late shift pattern (6-2 / 2-10 pm Monday to Thursday and 5 hours shortened shift on a Friday) Fantastic opening for a CNC Machinist to work for a state-of-the-art manufacturing company with a strong order book. Working across a wide variety of products to exacting standards and tolerances, the role will offer technical variety and the ability to utilise your skills and experience to make a real difference on high-quality products. Working within a friendly, stable and highly successful manufacturing team as CNC Machinist /CNC Setter Operator you will ideally come from an apprenticeship background (or similar) and will be responsible for the following: Setting and operating multi-axis machines (3-5 axis typically). Ability to use a wide range of precision measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, shadow graphs, CMM or similar Strong knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling Ideally you will have experience in the below: Machine shop environment experience or apprentice trained / time served Setting / operating mill / turn Competent in using precision measurement equipment The ability to work to fine tolerances & understand engineering drawings You will be working across a range of products and therefore it will be a varied role, and you will be in a team environment where you are rewarded for your work.
