About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Payroll & HR Assistant to join a well-established construction company based in the East End of Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident in end-to-end payroll processing and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
This role is fully office based and initially temporary, with the view to becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage full end-to-end payroll processing for weekly and monthly payrolls
* Ensure accuracy in all payroll calculations, deductions, and statutory payments
* Process starters, leavers, timesheets, overtime, and holiday pay
* Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
* Handle payroll queries promptly and professionally
* Liaise with internal teams and performing inductions
About You
* Experienced in full end-to-end payroll processing (essential)
* Previous experience within construction payroll is advantageous but not required
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident using payroll software and Microsoft Office
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Able to work independently in an office-based environment
