Driver Hire and dh Recruitment (Torbay) are recruiting Van (Category B) 3,5t drivers for permanent positions with a long-established company based in Newton Abbot.
This is a Thursday to Monday pattern role within a 7 days a week operation, offering a reliable 5 day shift pattern and consistent hours. Previous experience in a delivery role or similar environment is required, as minimal training will be available.
Pay and Shift Pattern
* £13.68 per hour PAYE Advanced (Other pay models available)
* Thursday to Monday (early morning starts)
* 8 - 10 hours per day
* Paid weekly every Friday
The Role
This is a permanent Cat B van driving role working as part of a professional team in a busy operational environment. Responsibilities include:
* Safe operation of 3,5T Van
* Adhering to health & safety and operating procedures
* Delivering to customers providing excellent service
* Maintaining a reliable and safety-focused approach to work
Experience within a van delivery role or similar setting is required, as minimal training will be provided.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A valid Category B licence
* Reliability and flexibility for early shifts and weekend work
* Ability to work safely in a fast-paced operational environment
