Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer for an international manufacturing company with a site based in Radcliffe. Our client are global leaders in producing fragrances, supplying some of the biggest brands in the world. This is a permanent full time position and the successful candidate will be joining the marketing team.
Purpose of the role:
To design and produce digital and print materials that align with company branding to showcase our knowledge, expertise and creativity.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in briefing sessions to understand the scope of new projects
* Work alongside Marketers to develop bespoke designs concepts
* Designs trend reports, deciding the most effective layout for images and text and ensuring that branding remains consistent
* Prepare mood boards, mock-ups and packaging ideas to support marketing concepts
* Assist with the creation of internal branded documents and any other ad hoc design projects
* Produce designs for social and print media
* Create and design corporate branded artwork for external use (as required)
* Liaise with printers and suppliers regarding artwork specifications (as required)
* Stay up to date with new and emerging design trends and techniques
* Assist with the on-going management of the Fragrance Oils Website
* Maintain an effective filing system so that work can be easily accessed
Competencies/requirements:
* Experience in graphic design
* Creative and detail orientated
* Ability to manage multiple design projects and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
* Advanced knowledge of Mac design packages including Photoshop, Adobe & QuarkXpress
* Knowledge of MS Office with specific focus on PowerPoint
* Familiarity with CRM software
