Support Worker Dinnington - £12.96 ph
We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Female Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Typical shifts
Typical Shifts are: 8am till 8pm, 8pm till 8am. 1 week work 4 days and the following week 3 days.

Role description
Our residential service in Dinnington is a welcoming and friendly environment. You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
Responsibilities
* Help people gain more independence in their daily lives
* Assist with personal care as required
* Encourage participation in community activities and social events
* Support people to engage in chosen activities, outings and daily routines
* Work within a dynamic team to support residents
Qualifications and requirements
* Full UK driving license
* Resilient, flexible and composed in their approach
* Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
* Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma
