Job Description
We're seeking a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in helping amateur and semi-professional sports clubs unlock new income streams through our community lottery.
You'll coach club staff and volunteers, guide them through setup, and inspire them to maximise ticket sales - making a real difference to local sport.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sport, eager to learn a new industry, and motivated by seeing clubs succeed. You'll gain a strong understanding of our products and services, the market, and industry trends, while building meaningful relationships with clubs nationwide.
Requirements
* Make proactive calls and connections to engage and onboard member clubs
* Build strong relationships, helping clubs see how they can truly benefit from their lottery setup
* Provide clubs with support and assistance in selling lottery tickets
* Help clubs create action plans and sales strategies
* Respond to inquiries, resolve challenges, and maintain outstanding customer service
* Lead communications across social media, WhatsApp and LinkedIn, working with the marketing team on campaigns, content, and digital activations
* Visit clubs when required and host webinars
* Generate and qualify warm leads, identifying new prospects and opportunities within grassroots sports
Collaboration
* Work with colleagues to leverage their experience and industry knowledge
* Attend networking opportunities, including conferences and events
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales strategies (media support/video content/ digital campaigns
Performance Management
* Provide regular updates on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and market trends to the Business Development Manager
