Join Our Team as a Maintenance Assistant!
Are you ready to make a difference in an educational environment? Our client in Kendal is on the lookout for a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support their Health and Safety Maintenance lead. This is an exciting ongoing assignment with the potential for temp-to-perm, perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic setting!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance across school buildings and grounds.
Carry out essential repairs, including changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and performing minor paint touch-ups.
Set up rooms for various events, ensuring everything is in place for a successful gathering.
Monitor stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies to keep operations running smoothly.
Help with moving furniture as needed.
Adhere to the school's policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.What We Offer:
Hours: 12 hours a week, working 6-hour shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday from 12 PM to 6 PM.
Hourly Rate: £14 per hour.Requirements:
A DBS check is required for this role to ensure a safe environment for all.
