- 6pm but also could be working 7am-5pm or 8am-5pm Temporary to permanent contract JDR is recruiting for a Production Supervisor to work in a manufacturing site in Tiverton, Devon.
The role: As a Production Supervisor you will be working within a manufacturing environment and your duties will be as followed: Supervise and coordinate production activities for the product Monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet company standards.
Train, motivate, and manage production staff.
Maintain health and safety compliance across all operations.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.
Ensure production targets and deadlines are consistently met.
Collaborate with other departments (Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Logistics) to optimise operations.
Run & Maintain machinery.
About you: As a Production Supervisor you will have the following skills and experience: Previous experience in food manufacturing is preferred Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Flexibility for shift work if required.
Forklift License
