THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES As Subject Leader of Geography, you will:. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a clear vision for the geography department that aligns with the school’s improvement plan.. Curriculum Design: Lead the design and delivery of a rigorous, sequenced, and engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.. Teaching Excellence: Model outstanding classroom practice and mentor departmental staff through peer observations and professional development.. Fieldwork & Enrichment: Oversee a vibrant fieldwork program that brings geography to life beyond the classroom.. Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a proven track record of outstanding geography teaching..
