What will you be responsible for? As an Engineer, you'll be working within the Design Team, supporting them in delivering highways structures maintenance and new-build schemes to meet client requirements within time and budget. Working on exciting highways projects across National Highways, TfL and regional contracts. Responsibilities
* Producing technical designs, drawings, and documentation using the latest software for bridge and highway structures projects
* Supporting the Lead Engineer in managing scheme delivery from feasibility through to construction inspection
* Undertaking site visits, structure inspections, and gathering essential project data
* Contributing to technical excellence and innovation, including value engineering solutions
* Mentoring and supporting the development of technicians and graduates within the team
Qualifications
* You hold a degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering and are approaching or a Chartered/incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (MICE/MIStructE or equivalent)
* You have demonstrable experience in the inspection, assessment, design, and construction of highway structures to UK standards
* You are proficient with relevant design software and have experience working with Eurocodes in the design of highway structures
* You hold a valid driving licence and are comfortable with occasional site visits
* You are a collaborative team player who enjoys building strong relationships and sharing knowledge with others
