EYFS Teaching Assistant - Support Young Learners in a Nurturing Bexley Primary School
Location: Bexley, London Borough of Bexley
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (Permanent or Long-Term)
Salary: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting children in their early stages of education? Vision Teaching is working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in Bexley to recruit an experienced Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant who is committed to nurturing young learners and delivering high-quality support within an inclusive primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• As a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant, work closely with class teachers and Early Years staff to support children’s learning and development
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
• Support individual and group learning through structured routines and free play
• Promote children’s emotional, social, and physical wellbeing
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents/carers
The ideal candidate will have:
• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent) and experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Previous experience working as a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant in an EYFS or Reception class within a primary school setting
• A patient, nurturing approach and genuine passion for early years education
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
