We are offering full-time and part-time opportunities for Clinical Psychologists at Band 8a and BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists at Band 8a, who possess a core professional qualification. These positions are integrated within Step 4 and LMHTs across Nottinghamshire.

Applicants should have current BABCP accreditation, core professional training, experience in secondary care mental health (Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work), and additional post-registration training in therapeutic interventions such as EMDR, MBCT, ACT, and Compassion Focused Therapy.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering a highly specialist Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBP) service within the Locality Mental Health Teams (LMHT). You will be a key member of the multidisciplinary LMHT and the MHSOP CMHT, working with an all-age population (over 18). The role involves direct individual and group clinical work, supervision, training, consultation, research, and service evaluation and development.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs, delivering evidence-based interventions to those with severe and enduring mental health problems, utilizing advanced theoretical knowledge for detailed assessment and treatment.
Additional responsibilities include supervising Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners, providing advice and consultation to team members and other colleagues, conducting research for audit and service development, and delivering training at various professional levels.
