Senior Project Manager, Defence - Construction Consultancy

Company Overview
Our client is a well-established innovative real estate and infrastructure consultancy, with several offices in the Midlands and other key UK cities who work with a variety of high calibre and long-standing clients across multiple sectors.
They offer independent advice, transforming performance to safeguard the commercial interests of their clients embarking on investment programmes across real estate, infrastructure and natural resources.
Due to the number of high profile major defence construction projects our client is currently working on, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their existing Project Management team and work with clients on delivery, while managing the existing key accounts and developing new and existing relationships.
The Role
The successful SPM will lead a section of the PM team within the Nottingham office. Reporting directly into the Director of Project Management, they will deliver major real estate construction projects across the region.
The successful candidate will manage part of the team to successfully deliver the key stages of projects to ensure that they are on time, to high quality and within the specified budget. This will be spread throughout the region and in the defence sector.
Requirements
As a Senior Project Manager, you will have a minimum of 3 years Project Management experience, preferably holding professional qualifications and memberships (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB etc.).
1. Experience of working in a client-focused environment - working closely with clients, updating clients on progress, while taking personal responsibility in dealing with clients and striving to exceed their expectations.
2. Preferably Security cleared or the ability to get Security clearance.
3. Strong communication skills with experience working in a client-focused environment.
4. Must have an understanding and experience of delivering construction projects.
