My client requires an Accounts Payable Manager on a 3/6-month contract. This is a great role working in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversight of Accounts Payable process
2. Review and maintain the PO process
3. A hands-on role entering invoices and ensuring approvals ahead of payment runs
4. Oversight of employee expense and travel booking systems as well as employee credit cards
5. Support the existing team, following best practices and all policies and procedures
6. Assist in onboarding new team members
7. Potential involvement in system migration and process re-engineering for the right candidate
8. Experience within a fast-paced finance team
9. Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable
10. Excellent IT skills, including Excel
11. Strong communication skills to liaise with individuals at varying levels
12. Ability to work effectively in challenging environments
13. Possession of a relevant finance qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE
