A well-established property investment and acquisitions group based in South West London is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Lawyer to join its in‑house legal team on an interim basis. Due to a sustained workload across residential andmercial matters, the team is looking for a capable conveyancer who can manage cases confidently and independently.
The organisation specialises in purchasing and managing businesses holding residential andmercial property assets, and is structured in a way that offers the benefits of an internal rolebined with the structure of a traditional law firm environment.
Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing a broad caseload of property transactions from initial instruction through topletion. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced position requiring strong technical skills, good judgement, and the ability to remain organised under pressure. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing residential andmercial conveyancing transactions
2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and supporting documentation
3. Supporting senior lawyers and team members
4. Handling all postpletion actions, including registrations, SDLT filings, and requisitions
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK‑qualified solicitor with a solid background in property law, covering both residential andmercial transactions (3+ years' PQE as a guideline). You must have experience managing a busy caseload and be confident in delivering work with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong drafting ability, goodmunication skills, and familiarity with case management systems are essential. Candidates should befortable working independently.
