About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that combines expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, and BAM Nuttall. These partners specialize in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including Europe's latest high-speed rail projects.
We are seeking a Sub Agent to join our Engineering team near Wendover, Buckinghamshire.
The Sub Agent will assist with construction strategies, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation (Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans), construction programmes, procurement, and design deliverables.
This role involves liaising with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works to meet standards, schedules, and budgets. The Sub Agent will also manage the site engineering team and oversee the performance and development of site and Section Engineers. Ensuring construction operations conform to contract requirements and safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards is essential.
The position includes assisting with programme production, progress reports, resource and cost planning, and contributing to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliation, and cost control.

About You
* HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent, with progress toward ICE membership.
* Practical knowledge of Site Engineering and construction supervision.
* Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures, or drainage is essential.
* Own transport and a full driving license are required for site access.
* Competencies: SMSTS or SSSTS; CSCS White, Yellow, Red, Black, or Gold cards.
