Job Description: As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.
Pulse Nursing offers a variety of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams around the Stoke area.
Rates for the A&E Nurse position are between £26.00 and £44.10 per hour.
Responsibilities: Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on severity.
Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, including life-saving measures when necessary.
Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed.
Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for fluids and medications.
Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.
A&E Nurse Role Requirements: NMC Registration (minimum 6 months)
6 months experience in A&E with ability to provide 2 references.
Meeting framework compliance requirements, including DBS, Occupational Health, and an updated CV.
Proof of right to work within the UK will be required.
