The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours or sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £18.70 - £20.91
This is a 39-week sessional post, working during school term time plus in-service days.
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday, 08:00-16:00
Friday, 08:00-13:00
Start date: 11th August 2025.

You will work as part of a team, supervising practitioners daily to deliver a child-centered service that supports children and families, enabling each child to reach their potential in a caring, safe, and welcoming environment.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Educated to HNC level in Early Education and Childcare or hold SNNB/HNC/SVQ3 qualifications in Childcare/Education or equivalent. You must demonstrate ongoing learning and knowledge of current practices and legislation related to Early Learning and Childcare.
Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC):
Registration with the SSSC is mandatory. If not already registered, you must apply within 3 months of starting and be registered within 6 months.
PVG Membership:
This role is considered regulated with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
All preferred candidates: Must become a PVG Scheme member or update their existing membership before an employment offer is made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed and investigated before employment confirmation.
