Job Description
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, control, and instrumentation equipment and systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, control, and instrumentation issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
* Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards associated with electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to engineering designs, installations, testing, and maintenance activities
The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Controls Technician should have:
* Experience with AutoCAD and PLC's and SCADA systems.
* IOSH Managing Safely.
* Electricity at Work 1989.
* PUWER 1998.
* Previous experience of being apprentice trained would be desirable, or equivalent to EITB in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering..
* 18th Edition BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
