Key responsibilities and duties:
1. Planning and scheduling calibrated tooling/equipment
2. Collection, processing, and delivery of tooling/equipment
3. Inspection of Precision Termination Equipment
4. Reading, analyzing, and interpreting calibration certificates
5. Raising appropriate paperwork for failures/adjustments and following through to completion
6. Maintaining up-to-date registers and portals/systems
7. Completing documentation according to company procedures
8. Liaising with Calibration House enquiries
9. Coordinating with tool stores, GSE Controller, and other relevant departments on site
10. Supporting the GSE Controller and Tooling Controller during their absence
11. Performing inspections of GSE Equipment as required (limited scope)
12. Ensuring full compliance with the Quality Management System
13. Taking timely actions to achieve desired outputs
14. Participating in continuous improvement activities
15. Adopting a flexible approach to meet task needs
16. Promoting best practices, reporting non-compliance, and implementing preventative measures
17. Completing documentation in line with company procedures
18. Complying with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promoting a safety-conscious workplace
19. Supporting and championing company policies on diversity, dignity, and respect
20. Attending nominated training courses
21. Performing general duties such as housekeeping and other responsibilities as assigned

Functional Skills:
1. Knowledge of calibration testing equipment and tooling
2. Understanding of measurement uncertainty
3. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
4. Familiarity with Navixa, Shire, TC Max, and Workflow (desirable)

Encourages teamwork, supports colleagues, and communicates effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Qualifications and Training:
Essential: Apprenticeship or BTEC/HNC in a mechanical discipline.
Desirable: City & Guilds in a Mechanical discipline.
Experience:
Experience with measuring equipment in an engineering environment and planning/scheduling in a maintenance setting.
