About the Role
We are excited to be recruiting an exceptional individual to be the Personal Assistant to the Director of Thriving Communities.
What you will do
As the PA, you will support the Director in day‑to‑day operations, manage diaries, coordinate meetings, and deliver high quality administrative support.
Our ideal candidate will be
* An organised individual with strong administrative skills who can work in a fast‑paced environment.
* A professional with substantial diary‑management experience.
* Someone who can manage their own workload to ensure deadlines are met and provide excellent customer service.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Someone who can be speedy and accurate, whilst remaining calm under pressure.
* Previous PA experience supporting a Director/Assistant Director (essential).
* Previous local government experience (desirable).
* Previous experience supporting a Section 151 Officer role or other statutory position within a local government setting (desirable).
* Experience working in a value‑adding service (desirable).
* Political awareness.
