About WDC, the team and the Role The housing advice team is a face paced service, the TA admin officer plays a key role in supporting the effective management and delivery of temporary accommodation. What you are looking for We are looking for an applicant who shows a strong eye for detail and and who has an organised approach, as they will often manage multiple tasks at once. experience in recording information, working with locata and housing systems is desired. we need ensure that information is recorded correctly, documents are processed in a timely manner, and enquiries are handled professionally. Communication is an important part of the role. You may be the first point of contact for some queries, so a calm, helpful, and respectful approach is key. While the role is primarily administrative, it contributes to a service supporting people during challenging circumstances, so sensitivity and professionalism are essential. Main responsibilities You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date records, processing placement information, and supporting the wider team with a variety of administrative tasks. This will include working with internal systems, liaising with accommodation providers, and assisting with correspondence to residents. Hours & Contract type – Perm/Fixed/Temp (if not Perm length of contract) Permanent full time contract, office base, may move to some hybrid working. Overview of team Katie Williams - homeless services coordinator manages a team led by a principal officer and 3 support staff who will be supported bythe TA admin assistant.
