Koinonia Christian Care Home is seeking a friendly and approachable individual to join our dedicated and supportive team, caring for our vulnerable Christian residents. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression within the care sector, as we support you to achieve your Health & Social Care qualifications.
Koinonia is located in Worthing, West Sussex, and provides accommodation for 38 residents, including those living with dementia. View our stunning home here.

Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality, professional care to residents.
* Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing.
* Support residents with eating and drinking.
* Get to know residents to offer comfort, assistance, and reassurance.
* Treat residents as individuals with unique needs.
* Respect residents' dignity and privacy.
* Encourage independence and promote health and community participation.
* Assist with domestic tasks such as tidying, cleaning, and laundry.
* Support residents at the end of life.

About you:
* You enjoy working with older people and have empathy for them.
* You are able to work well in a team and are willing to undertake various tasks to provide excellent care.
* You are well-organized, adaptable, and practical.
* You hold NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

Hours:
Shifts: 43 hours per week, 5 shifts a week, every other weekend.
