Multi-Skilled Engineer needed in Ledbury, Salary: £40,300–£50,000 per year, Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm, Shifts: Monday–Friday (rotating 5:30am–2pm / 1:30pm–10pm), occasional weekends/on-call support, free onsite parking, access to onsite canteen, full uniform provided.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll maintain, repair, and improve production equipment across mechanical and electrical disciplines. You’ll play a key role in keeping the facility operating at peak efficiency, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults
3. Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards
5. Collaborate with production and quality teams, mentoring junior engineers as needed
To be successful :
6. NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent (HNC/HND desirable)
7. Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment
8. Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of lean manufacturing principles
9. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
10. Flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach
