We are seeking a process/piping CAD capability lead for our growing Nuclear and Net Zero Market. This position would be based from one of our core UK offices (ideally Glasgow or Bristol, but other UK locations considered) with a flexible mix of home and office work. We welcome full-time or part-time applicants.

Join us in building a carbon-free future.

Are you a lead CAD designer who thrives on collaboration and organizing others? Do complex projects excite you? Are you interested in providing leadership, setting up projects, and guiding CAD designers and engineering teams? Are you eager to develop a group-wide CAD strategy and provide CAD leadership?

If so, you could join us to support renewable energy projects and UK nuclear initiatives. You will likely manage multiple projects simultaneously, so adaptability is essential.

If you are a self-starter capable of delivering multiple projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, set up projects, and deliver solutions for challenging problems in the energy sector, we encourage you to apply.

What you can bring:

You have produced designs and drawings complying with engineering codes and have experience leading others or aspire to do so. You are adaptable and eager to contribute to the business's success.

You can liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally. You have a proven track record of working effectively as part of a project team.

You are comfortable supporting Quality Assurance processes by reviewing colleagues’ work and presenting findings to clients. Your experience covers the entire project lifecycle.

* Knowledge of software compatibility and integration.
* An understanding of delivering and reviewing technically compliant design deliverables.
* Experience in piping CAD delivery in high-hazard industrial environments (e.g., Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear).
* A desire to lead and guide others.

Optional attributes:

* A diploma in Engineering design, drafting, or equivalent.
* Experience in leading teams and developing strategies.
* Knowledge of EDMS/PLM software such as Vault, Projectwise, and Teamcenter.
