(1 x temporary teacher post – for two terms)

(1 x temporary teacher post for one academic year)


Hours: 32 ½ Hours per week

Salary: Teachers Salary TBC

The pupils, staff and Governors of Hendreforgan Community Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and caring teacher, who can join our effective school team.

We want to employ an outstanding professional with a strong dedication to working as part of our team and promoting our school motto – ‘Inspiring and nurturing a positive future for all’.

Hendreforgan Community Primary School is a happy and successful Primary School with a caring ethos situated in the community of Gilfach Goch. The school currently has 233 pupils on roll with 8 classes which includes a full-time nursery.

•Is an outstanding and passionate classroom practitioner who believes in the potential of all children with strong behaviour management skills;

•Is committed to raising standards of attainment and support positive wellbeing for everyone in our school community;

•Is passionate about education and has the commitment and drive to develop teaching and learning, which enables children to be motivated and successful in their learning;

•Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to work with the Hendreforgan team;

•Is able to meet the challenges of school life with enthusiasm, positivity and efficiency and will be fully supportive of and involved in the life of the school including extracurricular activities;

•Can take on projects, drive them forward and see them through to a successful conclusion;

•Will demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for learners of all dispositions and backgrounds, ensuring equity for all.
