Job Title: Warehouse, Despatch & Waste Co-ordinator
Our client is a leading global supply chain specialising in labels and packaging solutions, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Warehouse, Despatch & Waste Co-ordinator for their Kings Lynn site to start asap,
Permanent role
This will be working a week about rotating double day shift 06:00 – 14:00/14:00 – 22:00 with 30 mins unpaid breaks Monday to Friday.

Reporting to: Print Operations Manager
Key Responsibility & duties
Ensure that company written procedures are adhered to at all times, i.e.
Employee Handbook, Health and Safety at Work and Hygiene Controls.
Organise the warehouse designated to you to maximise efficiency whilst
maintaining hygiene and Health & Safety Requirements.
Attend production meetings to gain information on requirements for the day in
relation to press and slitters film requirements and communicate any issues
with regard to film availability.
Prepare and issue film to presses and slitters as determined by the production
plans. This may include the unwrapping and removal of unwanted packaging to
the relevant waste areas or the labelling and confirmation of locations to enable the Print No 2 to access its location without delay.
Manage materials returned from press or slitting including the documenting, relabelling & racking where necessary.
Stock take films on a monthly basis.
Maintain hygiene levels within your designated warehouses including the daily
sweeping of floors and emptying of waste bins for both general and cardboard
waste.
Take full responsibility for the Fork Truck in your designated warehouse
including daily inspection and notification of any problems identified.
Empty the waste bins into the correct waste stream to an agreed rota during
your shift. This will include the removal of film waste using the bin tipping
device on the fork truck, general waste to the compactor, wood waste to the
wood skip and cardboard waste to the cardboard skip.
Remove the Printers Make Ready Reels to an agreed rota during your shift and
dispose of into the film waste containers on site ensuring you log the weights
being disposed of.
Assist with the packing and despatch operation as required subject to the
warehouse and waste duties being completed first.
Assist the Logistics Manager with the loading and unloading of goods ensuring
that any vehicle being loaded or unloaded is in good clean condition and no
other items contained within the vehicle that put our products at risk which
includes the transportation of people.
During the winter months, perform the salt depositing on the main two entrance
walkways.
Multi-skill into other areas within the department where training has been
provided.
