Overview
Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in Operations. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be responsible for accepting deliveries, unpacking goods, and preparing crates to ensure our shop floor is always fully stocked. You’ll use in-store systems and tools to track deliveries, manage stock, and ensure products are where they need to be. We’re looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in ensuring our products are delivered, organized, and ready for colleagues and customers. The role supports the operation across various tasks and requires flexibility and teamwork.
Working Pattern
Week 1: Sunday 10:15 - 20:15; Wednesday 13:15 - 23:15; Thursday 13:15 - 23:15; Friday 13:15 - 23:15
Week 2: Monday 13:15 - 23:15; Wednesday 11:15 - 21:15; Friday 13:15 - 23:15; Saturday 13:15 - 23:15
Purpose
To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, we are looking for colleagues who put customers before tasks every time whilst championing and promoting our brilliant products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us to continually improve.
Key Accountabilities
* Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with product
* Monitor and deliver on the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
* Receive training to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time
