This special needs school offers a calm, nurturing and safe environment with a holistic curriculum that is guided by Speech and Language therapists and Occupational Therapists. This school has a focus on developing its pupils' essential life skills with a goal to lead them into successful lives outside of school. You will be supporting students with learning difficulties (ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs) and providing personalised support to help each learner unlock their full potential. Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant : Assist teachers in delivering personalised support for students with a range of special educational needs. Provide one-on-one support for students during lessons, activities, and daily routines. Create and maintain a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere. Help students build confidence, social skills, and develop their emotional well-being. Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality education. Assist in preparing and organising classroom materials and resources.
