Role Overview The Performing Arts Technician will support the technical delivery of school productions, concerts, assemblies, and events. Key responsibilities include: Setting up and operating lighting, sound, and staging equipment Supporting rehearsals and live performances Maintaining theatre equipment and technical inventory Assisting staff and students with technical training and safety procedures Managing backstage operations during productions Coordinating technical aspects of school events and performances Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Supporting the maintenance of rehearsal spaces and performance venues Assisting with equipment procurement and stock control Providing technical advice to teaching staff The role requires flexibility, technical knowledge, and the ability to work occasional evening events during production periods.
