Under T Research, you will be part of the group Architecture Evolution and Software Innovation. This team works on research and transfer of Architecture Guidance for digitalization solutions and products leveraging the Siemens Industrial IoT platform. What Do We Do ASI (Architecture Evolution and Software Innovation) focuses on Research in Areas of the Siemens industrial IoT platform. We work on problems related to Interconnecting Complex Data Models from PLM to create Semantic enabled Data Connectivity in PLM Tool Chain that can result in a closed feedback loop. We also look into transition of Business based on Legacy Software to Cloud based Business Models and look into the architecturally feasible phase wise approach for such a transition. This is your role. What part will you play? As a Technology Professional, you will Understand the big picture and provide technology leadership on all research topics in this area formulate (from scratch) or refine the research proposals and take it forward with the respective stake holders from Business, Technology or University and implement the same. Collaborate with rest of our Research teams or BUs whenever needed and bring in business to the Group. Headline Tasks You will be responsible for developing technology roadmaps, architectural plans, and designs including building Semantic Web for Knowledge and API-based microservices to enterprise Knowledge extraction from multiple sources. Provide Technical Leadership and mentoring to the team while completely owning the architecture. You will ensure we are creating quality solutions that meet our customers business needs as efficiently as possible. Expectation is to build a loosely coupled architecture that is agonistic of underlying domain model / schema. Provide recommendations and technical assistance to meet our strategic goals of simplification, standardization and automation. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds Experience in software engineering methods and tools, covering the whole development lifecycle Expert in DevOps, Easy Onboarding and Evolution towards Software as a Service business concepts Experience in defining microservice architectures and hands-on knowledge in realizing microservice-based solutions (e.g., with Spring Boot) Very good experience in container technologies (Kubernetes, EKS etc) and other cloud based technologies Knowledge in wide array of Programming Languages Knowledge in semantic technologies (RDF, RDFS, OWL) is a plus Knowledge in Graph Databases (e.g., Blazegraph, neo4j) is a plus Educational Qualification Doctorate / Masters in Computer Science with 7-10yrs of enterprise Software Development / Research Be Able to establish conversation with customers and ability to lead customer interactions
