An opportunity has arisen for an Inside IR35 contract IT Technician to join a growing organisation, providing hands-on technical support across the business. This role offers a mix of 1st and 2nd line support, device management, and infrastructure support, helping ensure colleagues have the technology they need to work effectively.
Working closely with the Head of IT, you will play a key role in maintaining systems, resolving technical issues, supporting warehouse technology, and contributing to improvements in IT processes and systems.
This role is based in Leeds and may involve occasional travel to European locations as well as some out-of-hours support when required.
The Role
As IT Technician, you will act as the first point of contact for IT support requests while helping maintain and improve the organisation’s IT infrastructure and services.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries
* Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
* Setting up and managing user accounts, laptops, and devices
* Supporting Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
* Providing support for remote and hybrid workers
* Managing IT onboarding and offboarding processes
* Deploying and maintaining hardware across the business
* Supporting warehouse technology including scanners and label printers
* Assisting with IT projects, documentation, and system improvements

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have experience providing IT support within a business environment and enjoy solving technical problems while delivering excellent customer service.
You should have:
* 2–4 years’ experience in IT support (1st or 2nd line)
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 environments
* Experience supporting Microsoft 365 users
* Familiarity with Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID
* Experience troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues
* Experience supporting laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
* CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL certification
* Experience with Microsoft Intune or endpoint management
* Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge
* Experience supporting warehouse or operational technology
* Familiarity with backup solutions or Azure environments
