A Full time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family based in Henley-On-Thames, Oxfordshire to assist them in caring for their precious baby and two school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. The nanny-housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare healthy meals for the whole family. It would be ideal if the nanny-housekeeper is flexible to join them once or twice a week per year when they travel. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license would be a bonus for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Exact rota to be discussed typically 4 days from 7:00 am. 2 days finish at 2:30 pm and the other 2 days finish at 6:30 pm. Total of 30 to 40 hours per week. Some evenings for babysitting.
Duties include:
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
Dropping off the older children to school and occasionally doing pick ups
Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles and purees for infant
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park when required
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
Making beds and replacing linens as needed
Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children and infant
The family is seeking someone who can start on the 21st of July 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
