For trainees, the post holder will work closely with the training organisation for the EMHPs, alongside a range of colleagues as part of the MDT and those delivering 0-19 Child and Family Early Help Services.
The MDT is made up of EMHPs, CWPs (children and young people's psychological wellbeing practitioners), SWPs (Senior Wellbeing Practitioners), Psychologists, Systemic Psychotherapists, Integrative Psychotherapists, Creative Therapists and CBT Therapists. They deliver evidence based mental health interventions across education and community settings, provide consultation and advice, step up to specialist services where appropriate, deliver workshops, groups and training across Family Services, education and community settings. Including supporting a whole school and college approach as part of delivering on the government's Mental Health Support Teams in schools initiative (MHST) which is embedded into the BICS MDTs.
We have two permanent full-time roles available. These practitioners would be offering line management and clinical supervision to our CWPs alongside holding their own small clinical caseload and acting as a link practitioner for an agreed number of schools. Each role would sit within one of our three MDTs attached to one geographic hub within Barnet. We would welcome applications from candidates who have already completed the Anna Freud Centre CWP/EMHP Supervisor training and from those eligible to complete it, with a view to applying as part of the recruitment process.
Please note if you have not already completed the training, candidates should complete the application in the link below simultaneously with the job application process.
