GSL Education are hiring a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in Doncaster, including the DN2 and DN6 areas, ensuring lessons run smoothly when teachers are absent. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise whole classes using pre-set lesson materials, maintain positive behaviour, and help students stay focused and engaged in their learning. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes during teacher absence using provided lesson plans. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Ensure students complete the work set and remain on task. Provide clear instructions and support where needed. Report back to teaching staff regarding class work and behaviour. Requirements of Cover Supervisor: Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Confidence in leading a class independently. A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). What’s in It for You?
