About the Role
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping procurement operations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll lead supplier performance initiatives, drive process improvements, and support team development. Key Responsibilities
* Lead procurement activities across designated categories
* Manage supplier relationships, lead times, pricing strategies, and performance tracking
* Drive forecasting and demand planning alongside commercial and sales teams
* Contribute to pricing reviews and KPI reporting for leadership
* Champion process improvements and ensure compliance with internal standards
* Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting growth and succession planning
* Support ERP database accuracy and procurement system development
* Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training
1. What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement
* CIPS Level 4 qualification or willingness to work towards it
* Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
* A proactive, positive mindset with a drive for excellence and collaboration
