The role requires 4 days a week in the head office in Seaford with 1 day at home. As the finance assistant responsible ensuring year ends and budgets, your role will be to ensure the smooth management of the blocks/estates, building a repour with the team, clients and other stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and transparency is maintained at all times. You will be supported by other departments but as a small organisation, it is expected that you will need to undertake a certain amount of administration to manage workloads.
The role comes with career progression to a senior position in time, overseeing the Finance Team.

You may need to be involved in resolving for guidance generally.

Client Accounting tasks:
* Prepare audit packs for external accountants
* Prepare service charge accounts for certification externally
* Loading budgets into finance system together with percentages
* Raising demands for service charge and dispatching them out
* Assist property management with accounting queries
* Produce quarterly client financial reports and issue them to the property managers
* Assist with new business on-boarding
* Raising adhoc service charges on Focus for the property management team
* Logging into bank line daily to transfer payments to service charge accounts for properties
* Purchase ledger – sending to PM's for approval before adding invoices to the system to be paid
* Raising invoices on Sage Accounting
General Tasks as required (All Staff):
* Phone answering including dealing with clients, flat owners, contractors on financial matters
* Other tasks as required such as printing and posting demands
* Holiday cover when necessary
