AXA Retail is seeking a talented, passionate, and versatile Salesforce Engineer with a growth mindset and a commitment to technical excellence. You will be a key member of our agile development team, responsible for building and maintaining our Salesforce Ecosystem and its integration with our in-house insurance platform, following industry best practices and standards. Your collaborative approach will foster a culture of growth and learning, demonstrating resilience and courage in facing new challenges.
Our technology stack primarily includes: APEX, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, Lightning Web Components, HTML, CSS, Custom Objects, Complex Batch Jobs, Azure DevOps, and Copado. We are also exploring other languages and technologies, focusing on the Salesforce Platform and Azure cloud services.
At AXA, we promote flexible working, allowing our employees to balance home and office work effectively. From September 2025, at least 40% of your workweek will be remote, with the possibility of visiting offices, clients, or industry events. What you’ll be doing:
* Developing solutions that meet quality, design, performance, and security standards
* Providing production support, including incident investigation, triage, and resolution
* Thorough testing of solutions, emphasizing automation
* Utilizing low-code and click-driven solutions alongside custom development when needed
* Creating and supporting Lightning Web Components, triggers, and scheduled batch jobs
* Ensuring quality and continuous improvement through reviews and retrospectives
* Maintaining platform stability and availability through collective ownership
* Sharing knowledge and fostering growth within the development community
What you'll bring:
* Salesforce engineering experience with relevant certifications like Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator
* Strong understanding of clean code, object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, and Salesforce best practices
* Adaptability and growth orientation to meet evolving platform and customer needs
* Experience across the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
* Passion for software development, demonstrated through blogging, open-source contributions, or tech event participation
* Excellent relationship-building skills with colleagues and stakeholders
* Innovative mindset for technical problem-solving
* Knowledge of additional technologies such as C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, SQL, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap is advantageous
