Electrical Testing Engineer
Location: Heckmondwike, WF16
Salary: £41,600 – £44,200 (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are a leading provider within the electrical inspection & testing industry, and due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Periodic Inspection & Testing (EICR) of commercial and industrial premises
* Testing of Fire Alarms (preferred but not essential)
* Testing of Emergency Lighting Systems
* Assess and provide pricing for any remedial works required following inspections
* Deliver accurate reports to the office within agreed timescales
* Undertake electrical installation works in commercial and industrial environments
* Ensure deadlines and project targets are consistently achieved
* Respond to client queries and provide technical support when required
Skills & Experience Required
* Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent training
* Qualified to City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection) or equivalent
* Qualified to City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS7671) Wiring Regulations
* Proven experience in EICR testing within commercial/industrial environments
* Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel
* Confident IT skills and ability to complete digital reports
* Strong communication skills with a professional, client-facing manner
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Positive, proactive approach with a focus on safety, accuracy and quality
