As a valued Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the classroom environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with pupils on a one-to-one basis, as well as provide broader classroom support to ensure a positive and effective learning experience.

Role Details
* Location: Abergavenny
* Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Start Date: September 2025 (ongoing assignments)
* Hours: 08:30 - 15:30
* Pay Rate: From £87.96 per day
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver one-to-one and small group support
* Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery
* Support pupils' learning, including reading and targeted interventions
* Contribute to classroom management and pupil wellbeing
* Support outdoor learning activities, including forest school where applicable
Experience and Skills
Desirable:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (not essential)
* Experience working within primary schools
* Understanding of inclusive classroom practices
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND
* Ability to use a range of strategies to support learning
* Ability to travel (driving advantageous but not essential)
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
* Provide two recent, child-related professional references
