Job description
A well-established, family-run merchant in Northern Ireland with comprehensive coverage of plumbing, heating, bathrooms, tiling, and renewable energy products. They offer strong trade support, extensive showrooms, and a dedicated commercial team particularly well-suited for local and contractor-based supply needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate company van to complete daily delivery routes
2. Load and unload goods in a secure and safe manner
3. Ensure timely deliveries to customers and trade sites
4. Complete necessary delivery paperwork accurately
5. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
6. Provide excellent customer service at every point of contact
7. Follow company policies and health & safety guidelines
Requirements:
8. Full UK driving licence (Category B)
9. Previous van driving/delivery experience preferred
10. Good knowledge of local area routes
11. Ability to lift and handle goods safely
12. Reliable, punctual, and professional
13. Excellent communication and customer service skills
