About The Role
As a Bank Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It's what shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes. Our Residents are people with rich lives and personal stories. By joining HC-One, you'll help give something back - through care, respect, and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
2. Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
3. Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
4. Supporting infection control and safety standards
5. Helping with laundry and linen care
6. Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
You'll take pride in your work and keep everything spotless. Whether you're ticking off tasks or jumping in to lend a hand, you'll do it with care and compassion. Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You'll need to be organized, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail. Most of all, you'll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation - with Residents, visitors, and your team.
About HC-One
At HC-One, kindness is more than a word - it's a way of life. We believe that caring for people means caring about what matters most to them, so we can support them to live their best possible lives. We nurture five key qualities - curiosity, compassion, creativity, courage, and dependability - which we call the 'Kindness the HC-One Way'.
We champion inclusivity, fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to be themselves. Our diverse workforce helps us learn from one another and better reflect the communities we serve. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and prioritize inclusive working practices.
We are enhancing our support for residents through digital care planning, streamlining care, improving outcomes, and making daily tasks more efficient. As we grow our digital capabilities, we're looking for team members comfortable with technology or open to learning, and we will support you every step of the way.
We care about our colleagues and are committed to supporting your personal and professional development. From the moment you receive a job offer, we aim for a quick turnaround to get you started, with full support along the way. We offer clear career pathways, continuous professional development, and postgraduate programmes, investing in your growth and opening opportunities at regional and national levels.
Please note: We can only consider applications from individuals who already have the full right to work in the UK. We cannot offer sponsorship or accept applications from those on a time-limited visa. Applications not meeting these criteria will not be progressed.
