We have a vacancy for a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to join our catering team and work under the direction of our Home Manager.
Experience in preparing meals suitable for the British palate is required.
Our catering team prepare meals for 50 elderly residents and this position is perfect for individuals who are experienced.
The ability to relate to older people and a knowledge of catering for their nutrition and dietary needs and experience of working in a kitchen providing meals for large numbers is necessary.
Knowledge of food hygiene regulations and responsibilities under HSAW Act are necessary.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
Wage is negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications.
Hours are
31.5 per week worked over 3 x
10.5 hour shifts starting at
6.30am and finishing at
5.30pm.
