Salary: £29,173 - £33,287 (pro-rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 24 per week, 39 weeks sessional
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Davidson's Mains Primary School Nursery. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team.

About the nursery
Our nursery delivers Early Learning and Childcare to children from 2-5 years old, both in term time and over the school holidays.
Our current nursery improvement plan includes developing our outdoor provision to deliver quality experiences and spaces to learn and develop and exploring the concept of Slow Pedagogy to benefit our young learners.

Responsibilities
* Deliver Early Learning and Childcare to children aged 2-5 years old, in term time and holidays.
* Work across term-time Monday to Friday with shifts between 7:45am and 6:00pm.
* Engage with the nursery improvement plan, including outdoor provision development and Slow Pedagogy concepts, to benefit young learners.
Pre-employment checks
* This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
* The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
* Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outwith the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
* An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annual progression to the top of the range.
